Men’s side:
They go to purchase women slaves to sleep with them: Not allowed to have sex with the woman is on her period, if she is another man’s slave. It is okay to have sex with her if she has not reached puberty but is fit for sex (whatever that really means). Jalal sees a man who wants to buy a mother and her daughter and ends up buying them to save them from that man. And he brings them to his home.

In Der-Ezzor, Jalal is angered by the savagery of the IS fighters as the Prophet mentioned about not killing the ones to be retreating from a battle, and that Allah was merciful. Others criticize him as they are Shia and that he needs to strengthen his heart and be like a wolf.

Jalal tries to disuade Ziyad from driving a truck full of explosives into an enemy base but fails and Ziyad is dead. Jalal gets shot.

Women’s side:
Shakira decides to get married in order to be able to work in the hospital with Dr. Rabih.

Enemies are brought in the hospital, Shakira is asked to remove both kidneys from each enemy body, as she refuses, she gets punished and gets hit in her feet.
